Lynn Belcher Legal Nurse Consulting & Nurse Observers for Defense Medical Exams

Providing Legal Nurse Consulting Services, Nurse Observer for Defense Medical Exams (DMEs), and Speaking Service

Certified Legal Nurse Consultants are the least expensive way for attorneys to access health-care professionals that provide professional, evidence based opinion and research normally obtained by hiring high priced physician experts. Consultants can collaborate with plaintiff or defendant attorneys, healthcare organizations, insurance providers, or any organization needing medical record review, interpretation, analysis or summary.

Certified Legal Nurse Consultants are qualified to review cases, answer questions, research topics and assist the attorney in developing the medical related issues of many types of cases. They provide medical and nursing opinions as the expert on health, illness and injury and the inner workings of the healthcare system.

There is no denying that while physicians make the patient diagnosis and medical care plan, it is the professional nurse that actually knows and provides direct care to the patient. It is the nurse who forms the relationship with patients and families and it is the nurse who knows the standards of care, policy and procedures, and quality initiatives that drive safe care.

A Legal Nurse Consultant represents and speaks for the nursing profession and helps to educate all parties involved in medical-related litigation.

Providing Legal Nurse Consulting Services

Defending or prosecuting a case with independent exam medical components are not always easy; attorneys may be skilled, experienced, and educated, but they are not medical professionals and so the finer points of a personal injury or malpractice case may not be easy to get a handle on.
